We’re already working with partners on exciting new campaigns to raise awareness of period poverty and break down stigma. We’ll be adding new products to our range as period pants hit the shelves. And we are expanding the Hey Girls team into England.

Head of Sales & Marketing

As Head of Sales & Marketing you’ll be responsible for the development and implementation of our sales and marketing strategy, and you’ll oversee the day to day running of our sales and marketing teams. As a social enterprise, our mission is unpins everything that we do, and in this role you’ll work closely with our Founder & CEO to bring our vision to life.

In addition to upskilling the existing commercial team, the Head of Sales & Marketing will enjoy direct relationships with large and important customers, and continual search for new ones. Specifically, your duties will include:

  • Overall accountability for company sales performance, business development, and marketing strategy and sales operations
  • Delivering long term business objectives to ensure growth with all customers, including B2C, B2B – via wholesalers and distributers, and within the public sector
  • Establishing a clear and measurable marketing strategy; and developing campaigns and KPIs in line with this.
  • Designing, building and executing an effective pipeline to drive new business – covering all areas of inbound marketing, outbound business development activity and analysis, tracking and reporting.
  • Maintaining and developing direct relationships with some important customers
  • Continually seeking out new opportunities in the marketplace
  • Managing relationships with external suppliers, agencies and partners, driving efficiencies and ROI
  • Team leadership duties such as training, management and development
  • Agreeing objectives and KPIs for team members in sales and marketing which meet business objectives and measuring performance against these
  • Maintaining effective regular communication of sales activities, projects and achievements to the rest of the wider business
  • Deputising for the CEO when required

Because we’re soon to grow into an international business, experience working internationally would be an advantage. However, to be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • 5+ years’ experience acting a Senior Manager or ‘Head of’ level
  • Previous experience of creating a commercial strategy and holding a multi-disciplinary team accountable to it
  • The ability to think strategically, understand and analyse market trends, and identify opportunities
  • Strong leadership experience, with demonstrable successes
  • The ability to act under pressure with calmness and clarity of thought
  • Experience in analysing and interpreting data
  • Proven communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Evidence of being customer-focussed
  • Excellent commercial and business acumen

    Head of Marketing for Vodka, Gin and RTDs

    Denholm is delighted to be working in partnership with Loch Lomond Group to recruit a passionate, creative and strategically-minded marketing professional to the team. In this newly created role, the Head of Marketing for Vodka, Gin and RTDs will take full ownership for defining the direction the clear spirit brands take.

    The role will offer the perfect balance of brand and trade marketing activities. Working with a category leading brand, you will have strong consumer branding knowledge which will allow to translate these brand activations into engaging brand stories and will help recruit the target audience into the brand halo. A strong commercial marketer, you will work with the Sales team to execute key marketing initiatives, ensuring that all brand executions produce a strong ROI through the P&L.

    The Head of Vodka, Gin and RTDs is one of the most exciting roles available in the marketplace and will provide a solid platform for an adventurous and thought-provoking market leader to make a big impact in the category.

    Head of Whisky Marketing

    Denholm are delighted to be working exclusively with Loch Lomond Group; one of the most exciting and fast-growing global spirits companies in the country. To assist with their growth ambitions, they are looking to recruit a commercially astute and strategic marketer to join their team in a newly created role, as Head of Whisky Marketing.

    Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Whisky will create and drive a comprehensive and strategic brand plan including positioning, range architecture and pricing strategy to allow delivery of the business growth ambitions. You will have a background of working with premium spirits and be confident in launching NPD and range extensions across the global marketplace, ensuring alignment to the brand values through promotional toolkits. In addition to a background in brand-building, with the consumer at the heart of global activations, you will have experience of leading brand communications across all platforms including digital, sponsorship, PR and Events.

    The Head of Whisky will be a visionary thinker and will bring passion and enthusiasm to the role. You will have the ability to nurture and lead a high performing team to ensure that all strategic plans are translated into commercially successful activations.
