We believe that access to period products is a right, not a privilege. Access to free period products is something so simple yet so important and we are proud to be part of the change, part of the acknowledgement and part of the conversation. This is more than a job, it’s more than turning up 9 to 5, it’s more than just working in an amazing team… It’s about being part of a viable and growing start-up enterprise that is driving sustainable social change. Are you up for the challenge?
In the two years since Hey Girls was founded, we have donated over 10 million products across the UK.
We have over 200 donation partners that we work with who ensure that our products are received and given to girls and women in need.
We’re already working with partners on exciting new campaigns to raise awareness of period poverty and break down stigma. We’ll be adding new products to our range as period pants hit the shelves. And we are expanding the Hey Girls team into England.
As Head of Sales & Marketing you’ll be responsible for the development and implementation of our sales and marketing strategy, and you’ll oversee the day to day running of our sales and marketing teams. As a social enterprise, our mission is unpins everything that we do, and in this role you’ll work closely with our Founder & CEO to bring our vision to life.
In addition to upskilling the existing commercial team, the Head of Sales & Marketing will enjoy direct relationships with large and important customers, and continual search for new ones. Specifically, your duties will include:
Because we’re soon to grow into an international business, experience working internationally would be an advantage. However, to be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:
In addition, you must be passionate not only about what we do, but why we do it. This is going to be a very exciting journey, and we look forward to our Head of Sales & Marketing joining the team!
At Hey Girls, we are teaching the next generation to have open conversations about periods without shame or stigma, considering our environmental impact, and why its important to use plastic-free period products.
That’s a very special project to be part of, if you’d like more more information about this fantastic opportunity please get in touch today. Thank you.
